This stunning example of a NZ New 1967 Chrysler Valiant is sure to impress any true car enthusiast!
This car was found 13 years ago in a garage in North Otago, where the owners of 25 years had been storing it, and in need of some TLC.
The car was stripped right back to bare metal, only minimal rust was found and all was repaired. A white pearl and red crystal candy paint was used to finish the car off, restoring it to it's former glory.
Originally a 225 slant six, this was replaced by a 318 V8 and 727 auto, and an 8" Ford diff with tall gears.
The car was fitted with new shocks, brakes, steering parts, new exhaust, new fuel tank and new electric ignition.
Inside the car was finished with a new leather upholstry, and all the trims looking like they did in the 60's, this car truly is a timewarp back to the golden age of motoring and muscle cars, where Ford, Chevrolet and Chryslers were cultural icons, and everything needed a V8!
Lovingly restored and full of great memories, but it is time for this piece of motoring history to find it's new home. If you love classic cars then this one will not disappoint!
